I'm Here!!! 27Jul2023

I have journaled since I was 17. I've written papers, letters, articles, stories, speeches, cards... most everything but a book (but it's coming!). And I have longed to share because I think I got some valuable stuff ;-).

I heard that Epictetus quote in a meditation I was listening to and I was convicted. Not in the legal sense like convicted of a crime but convicted in my spirit because I hadn't put anything 'out there'. That was a month ago and I still didn't do anything.

Until just now.

I don't know what was significant about today but I got that conviction again early on my morning walk, and I made a note, no a DEMAND of myself:

Start a blog TODAY.

It's 11:06 and I'm here. This is my first print. I can't say right now where this is going. That seems less important than being here and fulfilling the demand I put on myself; honoring how I put "Me" on my 'to-do list', and having the joy of crossing it off.

My heart is racing but it's a good racing. It's the 'fight' part of the 'flight or fight' racing-heart response. Cuz I am a fighter. I may procrastinate a loooooooonnnnnnnggggg time, but the fight is always on. So, come on and train with me :).
